Klas brings up a great point--that it was never intended to be released. I think that might be what puts it over DD's version for me. Can you imagine going to some club in, what? 1966? To see Bobby sing "I Fought the Lawn" & he pulls out an eight-or-so-minute version of "Miserlou" that just freakin' SMOKES? —Radio Free Bakersfield--60 Minutes of TWANG, CRUNCH, OOMPH. |

I'm pretty sure its on the Del Fi Rarities, I'd like to see the track listing for the Instro only album. Jeff(bigtikidude) |

I have all of those except The Chase. How is it? Good, I'd bet. —"You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" |

WTF is up with the asking price for that CD? That must be a joke, or someone read that we were talking about it on this forum and jacked their price up. I'm pretty sure I've see it at Amoeba used now and then for like 10 bucks. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! |

No, I get it. It's not on any Del-Fi Instro Comp that I've seen, but that's not to say it's not on another comp somewhere. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! |

The Chase is very, very similar to Our Favorite Martian. In fact, it almost sounds like it might be an earlier version of the song. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! |

Thats what I was saying about "Stringer" on the previous page. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BEP2fJCVdQ&feature=PlayList&p=2F1E5E6581CF14BE&index=12 maybe the 45 of "Stringer" was also "the Chase" on the Del Fi rarities. Jeff(bigtikidude) |

All three songs seem to have similar parts. I can totally see why you thought Stringer was on that comp. But The Chase and Stringer are definetly different songs. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! |
