Yeah, great show! Had some fun with the rim shots, dint ya?
This song:
baseboard heaters--ode to the barroom
is really growing on me. Sounds like the Stones could have written it for Exile on Main Street.

I love Ode to the Barroom.
It reminds me kinda like a Cheers theme song.
but a little more romantic.

I did! Anything that can make Dana wet her pants works for me!
After 160 plays (give or take a few), "Ode" is GROWING on you, Ferenc? I kid, I kid. The Heaters were trying really hard to do the country thing, but they had too much Who in them. And I don't mean Super Bowl Who. Think I'll devote some time to BBH soon so's everyone can hear that.

I'll never play it again!
I kid, I kid. I'm a kidder. Call me Margot.
Don't hear that. Hear the Mats. "Here Comes A Regular."

Thanks for the spin. I didn't want to record that particular track when we made the cd, but I was outvoted by the dorks in my band after much deliberation. They will be vindicated when I tell them that you chose that song for your show.

Just now listening to the show before the Del Fi tribute,
with the Block of Baseboard heaters in it.
I like them.
but the Ode to the Barroom songs stands alone from all the other ones.
I was hoping that there would be more like that.
oh well.

You nailed it, BTD---that tune stands alone amongst their recorded work. They really don't have anything else that sounds like that. That I know of.
