The Bambis are playing this Friday and Saturday at Teater ITD in their hometown of Zagreb, Croatia. It'll be a special show since they'll be joined by a horn & string sections plus an organ for a few songs, a first for them. The Friday show is already sold out (capacity of 600!) so they added the Saturday show.
God, I wish I could be there for that!
Break a leg, guys and gal!!

I'm checking out a free on-line speech to text translator which deals with croatian and other languages. looks interesting.

I didn't know that there is a speech to text translator. Anyway, both clips are dealing with usual promo stuff + journalist stupid question (did you ever play US - no, because they won't let us in anyway:)). Regarding Daytona Beach, that is the home town of our fan who contribute cover photo. She is 18 and a big fan of the band + very talented photograph.

Dalibor. Who wouldn't let the Bambi Molesters in their country!!! I need to speak to them right away!
Considering your band is more of a family these days, i think it's amazing what you are accomplishing lately. No one should expect too much.
Yes, there are speech to text programs, like this one for the iphone, it's free: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR-0aU3QmNI
And also: http://www.squidoo.com/text-speech-programs which can also translate.
But i think, because of the background music in your video clips it will not work.

The US wouldn't let them in! That's who. There was a thread earlier on how it was to get a work visa to play shows in the US. Larger bands must meet some "audience" quota, but smaller bands have less luck in the work permit arena. Quite unfortunately.

I gather it is a little easier if you are deemed to be of some sort of cultural significance. What we all need is for someone in the States to organise a massive and culturally significant instrumental festival. Then we could all be invited to play.
On the other hand, I suppose you could all just come over to England. You'll most likely be allowed in, but you won't earn any money!

How does it work if you are European and invited by a well known American band to play support?

Don't forget uk population has expanded from 52 to near 70 million, some migrating from Croatia and surounding areas.. The Bambi Molesters might make a few pound notes here! ..in theory.

Then the well known US band is all you need to get you into the country.

Done,
I have a band from Germany, and a band from Italy/Antigua coming to the SG101 convention.
I assume they are not worrying about the work Visas.

Could they could come over on vacation and then play? O maybe iff it was a hobby? I would assume that the problem might be going on a big tour? makes no sense to me.

My understanding is that that is not OK, although, of course, you might well get away with it.
