Permalink MIJ Jazzmaster body - cut for three pickups and a mute

Gang,

I was going through some junk and found the original body I used for my three pickup Jazzmaster before I got the current one. This is an early 90s "foto-flame" MIJ body. I think they're basswood. Anyhow, back then I slathered on some surf green house paint, and over time cut the body to fit a third pickup, and mute and a five way strat switch. Years later I stripped it, I don't remember why, and then tucked it away. The "modifications" are hack, hack, hack, using hand tools, dumb luck and supplies from Canadian Tire. The mute I set up before new parts were available, and instead of a plunger I used a dime on a spring.

Anyhow, let's call it $175 or best offer. Shipping outside the US would be extra. I'd be interested in one of the new Boss FRV-1 Reverb pedals if someone wants to trade.

Your chance to take the guitar that was the foundation of the jag and jazzmaster page way back in web 0.1 and take it to the next level. http://www.jagandjazzpage.com Remember that?!?
If it matters, this is the body that was on the guitar for all the stuff that's on SpongeBob SquarePants, Real World, etc. So there's some minimal amount of "provenence" to it. Yippee.

Here are some pics, starting with the body as part of the guitar, then as it is in its current state:
