yeah, I suppose if you wanted a jazzmaster, you'd buy a jazzmaster. Nice looking body though. |

In my opinion, it isn't worth $2300. The routing and lack of original pickups really hurts the value of this guitar. Also, lack of original tuners, big chunk of paint missing on the upper horn. There is nothing about this guitar that makes it closer to a Jazzmaster than a Jaguar. |

I was under the impression that Jazzmasters were humbuckers? I must be wrong? Sorry, relatively new to the cult. I'm a strat guy and dont wander too far from those in fetishing specs. |

Both have single coils, Jazzmasters are 25.5 inch scale, Jags are 24' scale. And the Jag has a mute most remove and a different picking selecting method/extra filter. |

Hmm... I'm going to need to get my hands on one of them to see what all that mess means. I thought the 5 way selector on my strat was confusing. |
So Jazzmasters have single coil pickups and short scale too? Whats the diff between jag and jazz then?Please visit our friends in the surf music community:
