I find this while I was surfing (on the web).
3 Surf (?) guitars very cheap from the Brand "Hodson" made in china for a UK seller... something between Cyclone/jagmaster/jazzmaster guitar.
Ze Surfcat

Ze Jazzcat

Ze Jazcat deluxe
There is a demo on youtube:

I really don't know what is it worth, may be more ou less like the The Jungle Master Series from J & D Guitars.

Well, I hope their guitars are better than their advertising copy; I just found five grammatical and spelling errors without really trying. What were those guys thinking? "We want people to look at our new stuff and think, Hey, cool! Oops, mistake! Hmm, wrong... Damn, this is sloppy... Sofisticated? Maybe I'll just buy a real Jazzmaster -- at least the Fender guys can spell 'and' correctly!"
Hope you guys will forgive my ranting -- I just got up. Probably ought to at least have a coffee before posting.

I must say.. if i found one of those in a local store around that price i would be hard pressed not to buy it if its as good as i have been reading. The jazz deluxe with the p90's please:) its nice they offer something other than a strat trem/bridge too, not a fan of them myself..

Looks to be Fender-compatible, if you know what I mean.
Interesting that the PRH series looks suspiciously like a PRS.
Their prices look good. I wonder how these guitars play and sound. Anybody tried one?

It's a tribute the mighty power of CNC machining that we have so many creditable low-priced guitars on the market these days. Given that, one wonders why we pay so much more for Fenders, Gibsons, etc.
At one time, a brand name was worth more because of a reputation for quality. These days, people pay the extra for the cachet (or, if you will, the 'vibe') of the big names and put up with the indifferent quality that some brands have fallen to (not naming names). If I were one of the big guys, I'd be awfully nervous about brands like Hodson, J&D, etc.
Hey -- extra advantage to the Hodsons -- you can use the headstock as a brush hook!

I bought one...liked it...bought another
thing is they are sooo different.....neck profile....etc.
sooo...i modded em...one has hb p90s in neck n bridge....orig neck p up in middle....got rid of nasty colour....now dark stained woodgrain with danish oil fin.....big lump of brass on headstock really helped tonally.....no tone ...just 250k vol....lovely guitar to play and sounds gorgeous.....second one is work in prog....orig neck pickup now in middle....HS filtertrons in neck n bridge...ibanez brass bridge assy with humpback pot saddles (for now)....finished in black ....other one has blocked trem....skinny neck....black one has much beefir neck profile.....going to keep wiggle stick on it......personally i reckon they make great guitars to hone your luthier skills....one i got up n running plays like butter....mate o mine has a USA strat and we both agree surfcat sounds superior and actually plays better.......grab em while you can...dont think they still make them....pity....i want more...

Forgot to mention...body wood is quite soft....dunn what it really is....necks are actually nice....set em up properly and theyre not bad out of the box....but the pickups are actually cheap ceramic....big flat mag on back....but.....take the tone knob uot of the equation and they sound ok...but weak....the one i have up n running with hb p90s(swap position of wiring) sounds superb....plus...if you gig em...no one will nick em....but you will be asked.."what IS that????....it sounds lovely".....i reckon Leo F would have slapped his forehead and said "why didnt I think of this???"...whth the blocked trem and extra weight on headstock mine is pure D Dale territory.
And TBH is much more playable than my jag or jazzer....it does the lot....and i got the action on it really low with no probs without touching the frets.....yes...i had to smooth edges ...but for the price???....oooo.....remember to take that thick sticky varnish off back of the necks on em too
