Is it possible to post some photos and sound files that aren't over a year old?
The new models are a lot cooler.

I was always a big fan of Mr. Zoom's work with X. He frequents the Gretsch board. What troubles me though here is his attitude about what constitutes a good reverb. No way I am buying a reverb unit designed by man who talks this kind of crazy:

_The best Fender reverbs are the seventies models with the extra tube. The sixties models were just OK. The reissues aren't very good. I always thought the Premier units were pretty good. It's hard to beat the reverb built into the older Fender amps. The reverb on the newer amps like Blues Devilles, etc. sucks because they use a high impedance pan driven by an opamp instead of a tube. _

ehhmm..
I can be wrong but didn't the real billy just passed by on this topic ?

I would say it makes a lot of sense.

Why dont he make his threats comes true,
I mean a pushpull button on an effect with the words pull for surf sounds way to good.
and if the tremolo and reverb work seperate and together good, it's worth the $750 i think.

I bought one, and will post reviews and pix as soon as I get it and test it out.

Reverb + trem is a great idea! The trem has to come after the reverb, though, otherwise the reverb will wash out the effect.

Back in the 90's, Cesar Diaz used to build a reverb/tremolo unit but it used a photocell trem like the blackface/silverface amps. He also claimed that it produced 'vibrato' but I looked at his patent and there is no way that circuit produces pitch-shifting vibrato like a Magnatone or Vox. I would hope the Billy Zoom would have used a bias tremolo circuit but who knows.

If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
