It looks like I'm late....
I'm trying to find a cream colored JM40 with no luck so far. I don't think these are available any longer through Fret City. They have the blue in stock but no cream. If anyone knows where to find one or is willing to part with one please shout me a holler.
Best Regards,
Brad

Oh wow, it looks like they aren't going to stock them anymore (I have a JM-10 in seafoam green)
From their website:
"The exciting JM Series Guitars has been a huge success story and we have shipped them all over North America. The popular JM-40 model line has P90 style pickups and a vintage style tremolo. This series combines vintage design cues with modern reliability and playability at an amazing price. JM Product ALERT Nov 24 2009 !!! We have been informed by the J+D factory that JM will be unavailable to Fret City for unexplained reasons - Fret City regrets we are no longer able to provide JM models beyond what is remaining in our inventory. "
If you want to pickup one of their remaining stock, let me know and I'll "refer" you (send them an email with your name and email address) and as an existing customer I can get a 10% discount on a future purchase. PM me if you're going to buy. No sense in letting the discount go to waste.

Isn't this XV-JM40 essentially the same guitar? Probably sourced from the same factory.

They have a vintage cream color option, and the headstock looks a lot better in my opinion. Xaviere guitars have a pretty good reputation, especially considering the price.
I have read rumors that they will eventually offer a version with jazzmaster-clone pickups.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Yes I see that the JM40's are no longer available. The Xaviere's also seem to be unavailable. The only model they have in stock is the natural finished ash.
My favorite color combination is the JM40's cream. The pickguard seems to be slightly darker than the Xaviere's. If all else fails I'll end up going with the light blue sparkle....although the cream accents look hideous to me.
Thanks again for your help. If anyone has a cream JM40 they would part with just holler at me...again you can hit me direct at wordb@interstatewire. com

Hi guys, the JM30 is still available in Europe. Here's a short video of me trialing her out.

I had to change the tuners, bridge and nut and had the frets dressed and now I'm really happy with her.Could've bought a Squier VM jazzmaster for the same (total)money but I don't like the jzzmstr/jag bridge/trem system.I've got lots of strats and all with Wilkinson bridges so I'm used to them.
cheers all
