Hey, just found a 15" Jensen EM1501 (220621). Does anyone know it? Or play with it?
How much does these speakers worth? According to the code number is from '66 and it's in great condition. But I'm not sure if it worth it to take it off from where it is and put it in my 15" cab to test it. But if I'll hear good comments I'll grab it!
Also, I don't know how many watts it can handle.
Hope someone would know something about it! It's a friend's and if I'd like it I'll buy it in a vrey reasonable price! Wink

Noone?

I've had a few similar speakers. Sometimes they're labeled Vibranto and have a cool crinkle finish. My handy '60's Jensen catalog shows the 1501 as being an extended range 1500 (probably designed for bass) with a 1.5 inch voice coil rated at 50 watts. This is a top o' the line Jensen and a very nice speaker, but a little dark sounding, IMO. Grab it if it's cheap and try it!

Thanks for the info, reventlos!
I'll try it!
