That was really good - fun to watch, funny, and instructional.
I liked how he started with the chords, and moved on from there - it still makes you learn and think, but he gives enough clues to make it easier to figure out.

It's very good of you to share such secrets with the world!
You may have already mentioned this elsewhere but you aren't using traditional surf effects, no? -what are you using?

WOW!!! That is absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing Ferenc.
You're a very nice person to share that.
Now, that's the way an instructional video should be done for a surf song.
What is the process of putting a video on youtube. Is it hard to do?

Wow, thanks for posting this Danny, I only uploaded it last night. Thanks for all the comments! If you are inclined to learn the song, I hope it helps. When I was learning guitar, I always used to go stand up at the front of the stage and stare at the guitarist's hands of course with guitar, it's not just about the notes but the correct fret positions as well.
Aside from the opening few seconds of the song (which is has my guitar going through a delay and reverb and then flipped backwards,) I am using no unusual effects on my guitar other than tank reverb and a little echoplex slap. I turned on my Fulltone overdrive for the solo section. The chorus sound that people hear comes from the droning e-string in the bridge section.
Making the video was not hard, I stood in front of my Mac and played along to the song and recorded the visual using iMovie and my Macs built in camera. I used YouTube's annotations feature for the blurbs.
If you have any questions or requests, let me know.
Enjoy!

Probably the best You Tube instructional video I've seen to date. Da man is both a musical & youtube genius. (Just see his Ewa video to see what I mean)
