Another entry in the Siboney cover wars, a very worthy one it is too:

Cheers Danny, Looks a little early in the morning!
I prefer this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixVSUMq-7pY
Watch Dinko's finger work, his route around the fretboard is clever stuff.

Wow, awesome! Two more videos from the same show:
As the Dark Wave Swells
Malaguena
So good!
(Looking at the endcredits at the end of the Malaguena video, it looks like the Bambis played six songs in total on the show: Point Break, Theme from Slaying Beauty and Point Of No Return (new song?) in addition to the above three. A very cool show!! Great camera work and sound. Very impressive.)

That sound Dinko gets around 2:00 on Sibony is like the technique he uses on Baia (Sonic Bullets). So cool to see it and hear it. The Bambi Molesters really orchestrate the parts and approaches within each tune to make instrumental music exciting and interesting. I can't get enough of this band.
So glad someone has recorded high quality footage of them.

I wish any tv shows in america would have instro bands on.
ok well I guess Conan has LSJ's on once a year or so.
but some other bands would be nice too.
and I guess I need to figure out how I am getting over to Croatia sometime to see them, because I have a feeling them coming here isn't very likely.

I just noticed the Bambis have a contribution on the Walkabouts Various Artists "Got No Chains" CD. It's called "Sundowner".

my comments from the front page news story about these vids.
since more people will prob see them here.
"I don't notice any Reverb tanks,
I didn't even really notice the lack of drippy reverb for quite awhile, that really goes to show how good musicianship can speak more than certain sounds. so for all of you out there that think you don't need a tank, the lesson is, get this good, then (maybe) we won't notice you don't have a tank."
