MattCrunk Joined: Apr 19, 2007 Posts: 92 Town Creek, Alabama	Posted on Nov 17 2009 04:35 PM My ultimate "new" surf band would consist of seasoned 30 to 40 something-year-old musicians on guitar, (non-pedal) steel, electric (or upright) bass, keys/organ, drums, exotic percussion, and possibly horns as well. The band would perform in identical in 60's style outfits (shark-skin suit, leopard-print fez and black cocktail mask sounds about right) and play on several sets of matching instruments. Music would be a cocktail mix of tiki/exotica, lounge jazz and instrumental surf. We would use Fender instruments and amplification exclusively unless some oddball company (like Italia) were to offer us a sweet endorsement deal and our own signature models. Possible name . . . Bowling shirts, jeans and thongs..and visible tatts. a spectacle people will surely wish to see and hear.... Top
