Permalink Gretsch Spectra Sonic G6143 for sale

New Topic

I think I'm going to sell my Gretsch Spectra Sonic as i need the cash to press some records - yes, vinyl records, you read me right Smile

This is a now discontinued Gretsch model designed by TV Jones and featuring two of his great TV Powertron pickups. It's a slimline hollowbody with no f-holes, a bigsby and a nice padauk fingerboard (I think).

The guitar is as new - I bought it two years ago when the money was flowing better and I have plugged in it literally three or four times. It's never been played out of the house.

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful guitars of all time. I'll upload some pics a little later, but in the meantime here's a generic pic for y'all:

This guitar was around two grand. TV Jones is now producing them himself for USD 2625 but that's with fancier keyboard inlays.

Just to confirm, this is the lead version, not the baritone. The guitar is currently in London, as in England/UK.

Any interest let me know.

here's a gallery. not a great camera, I'm afraid, but you can clearly see the guitar is minty minty

bumping this. The price is now US $1,500 or €1,000.
