The pickups are AVRIs. I recorded some of our album with this guitar. There are a couple small nicks but nothing major. I gigged with it and it has stood up very well. I just bought a vintage Jazzmaster and I have a AV already so I have to get rid of it. Top

Without much effort I can get a used USA one for $950. I would look to spend considerably less for a "much loved" japanese one... Even with upgraded pups. No intention to offend anyone. Top

I'd rather buy here, because while I'm not worried about being intentionally taken on Ebay, Jags are a different beast and someone uninitiated in the whole offset fender world could easily have a dog and not know it. I figure folks here would at least know if something is wrong with their guitar. I'm patient. This isn't an impulse buy... Top
