I'm very aware of the phasing issue. The trick I heard was to hold the speaker wires up to a 9volt battery and see which way the cone moves. All speakers should move the same direction.
I didn't want to hijack Danny's thread, so am posting this seperately.
In spite of playing electric guitar forever, this is the first I've heard of amp speakers being in or out of phase with each other. Getting new insights is one of the things I like about this place.
Can somebody give me a quck run down on how to run this test (which wire get +positive, which gets -negative? Does it matter?). And then what changes do I make to the wiring to get the speakers in phase?
Thanks in advance!
Chuck
