Karl Kolchak would approve and so do I (I'll bet Norm gets that reference)
I've never even heard some of those songs before, just another killer (pun intended) show from the fine folks over at the Spahn Ranch.

Wikipedia says Mr. Gasser WAS Roth. Confirm or deny?
Whorehay, that's what the album says... "featuring Ed Roth as Mr. Gasser" and he gets song writing credits as well. However, I don't believe that's him singing. Never been able to confirm this but beware of misinformation on the web about it. Did Roth take the secret to the grave with him? I think so.
According to McParland's Surf Music U.S.A. book, Roth was indeed involved in the song writing but wasn't singing on the sessions and only provided the munching sound on "Termites In My Woody"

the esteemed mr baron von shivers did a KICKASS stint as guest DJ on local college station KXLU 88.9fm 2 nites ago.
turned on the radio at 10;15pm (the'molotov cocktail' exotica show is 10-midnite) and they were playing a very cool surf tune. i called in to see what it was and it turned out that baron shivers was guest dj that nite! hoot!
he played some great surf, exotica, primitive roknroll, and halloween stuff,(and cool old commercials) and was funny as hell.
hoo-ray!

No, I don't answer it. Problem with a trivia question is that it involves a PRIZE. I got nothing to give away right now.
