Does anyone like the Allman Brothers band? What about the Dead, or Allman Brothers, or Led Zeppelin or HEndrix?
Some of you know, I have a daughter now who is 16 months old and over the last year I have purged a tremendous inventory of gear and stuff making room in my once great guitar room that now has the crib and Elmos out the cornhole.
I still have a bunch more things to go and will be offering up, like minded music related things in hopes of offering them to Fans here on this great forum for a savings. Its getting close to the holidays. So maybe you see somethnig you like?
I have an extensive library of books from artist such as the Dead, Hendrix, Allmans, LEd Zep and so on. I also have collected several years of Vintage Guitar Magazine if there is a certain issue you are looking for. So if anyone is a fan let me know.
I am a huge Duane Allman fan. So, these are minor things, but very sentimental. I hope someone will enjoy them as well.
Up for sale now is these items. If the picture gets cut off, I can email you it. A framed picture of Duane Allman playing his SG, and you can see one of the pix has his SG that was a layout in a guitar Mag, so I framed it, mighty is that SG.
2 issues of Vintage Guitar Magazine that had his Goldtop highlighted, and the second with him. I have an autographed "enlightened Rogues LP" with Gregg and Dickey Betts, and you can see the certificate of Auth. I also have a smaller picture of Duane framed with a Guitar Pick from Dickey Betts I got from him at the Beacon Shows in NYC.
Then there are some books, The Midnight Riders one, and then Saint and Sinners (A roadie wrote it, very rare book,) and Tales of Red Dog, (another very rare Roadie book of the Allmans) and then the Skydog book that came out recently.
Price will take some communication. Not sure what its worth, but I want a true fan of Duane to have it. If you don't know about Duane, PLEASE go research. HE is one of the most underrated guitar players in history. Self taught, LEft hander that played right handed.
I actually had a Gibson Custom Shop Goldtop with his same serial number and was Brazillian Rosewood and all. (sold it recently).
So, I am a huge fan, and must pass this to the same.
