Hi

I found an ta-30 amp for sale here in my country.
but it looks quite bad and the reverb sometimes drops out,
and i wonder if you think this is repairable.
the price tag is around 100-150 euro's

I'm sure it is repairable.

Did you buy it already, or are you looking to buy it? 100-150 Euros is a bit much. It looks like a solid state amp, and it isn't in great condition, especially with the repair to the reverb needed. The reverb is probably pretty useless in the first place.

Hi Jake,
yes i am looking to buy this one, and i really like this amps, but they are hard to get here in holland.
and i was thinking that it would be quite nice with some new tolex.
do you know what the problem is with the reverb ?

These actually weren't a bad old sounding amp, although I can't remember what the reverb was like on them.
One thing to bear in mind, they had a specifically designed speaker which was a very odd shape, bit like a trapezoid. If that blows, I wouldn't like your chances of finding another one, & I don't think there'd be much room in there for a stock speaker.

As far as the price goes, there was one for sale recently here in Australia for $150AUD. It sat for ages; the last time I saw the ad, the guy had dropped it to $80AUD (about 50 EUR).
