Permalink my quest for a reverb unit

3-spring pans don 't sound surfy at all to my ears. the newer accutronics pans suck indeed. at least the few Ive heard, and by nature they vary amongst eachother. late 90's pans can be had on ebay for the price of a new one (i.e. 20bucks range), with a little patience. no reason to go three spring, unless you prefer the less drippy, deeper sound of a three-spring. it's all a matter of taste of course.

wow, this certainly has been an informative thread. I guess I knew in my heart all along what I needed but you fine gentlemen and gentleladies have confirmed what I knew all along. Would any of you care to write a note to my wife telling her how much I need a Fender reverb tank? Thank you all.

You need a doctor’s note!

A "prescription" for a Fender tank.

I can't remember how I slipped that one past my wife, or I could give ya some Ideas.
