Hi everyone,
We're looking for some suggestions for a playlist for an upcoming Halloween Party...any ideas?
I have lots of surf CD's and will be going through all of them (in iTunes) looking (listening) for the more spooky, creepy, and maybe danceable tunes...do you have any favorites for an event like this?
Your help is greatly appreciated!

Funny, I thought I sent this as a PM, but I guess I had too much to dream last night. Anyhoo, RFB did Halloween shows in 2007 & 2008. You can download them here:

This year's Halloween RFB will go up the Monday before Halloween & will feature Baron Shivers, BTD & Necrobella! Hope y'all tune in.

The Monster Surfer by Frank N. Stein and the Abominable Surf Men is a long time favorite of mine. Recorded by a studio group for the great 1963 My Son The Surf Nut album.

Sun Ra supossedly plays the organ on the "Frankie Stein" stuff. Although they were meant as children's records, they really feature some top musicianship.

Frankie Stein was a completely different project with something like five full albums on Power Records while Frank N. Stein was just one song on one album released by Capitol Records.

Witch Girl by The Mystrys, a mid-60's Aussie band, is a pretty cool track. You can hear it here... http://www.ziggy.com.au/mystrys%20records.htm
Those big Atlantic's-style rolling toms would get anyone's ass shaking.

I concur Witch Girl is a stellar track.I added it to my Rock Is Dead presents Songs of The Night comp last year. It's probably one of the best garage songs that fit into the horror /halloween genre.
