Gives a fat sound, really slick, durable, cheap and stays in my fingers. CD is fairly easy to cut. After a bit of sanding of the edges I have a surprisingly good policarbonate pick. Tip: I found it easier to work with the CD when it was cut in half. Top

Everything evolves. Somebody gave me this pick for Christmas, 2 mm thick, stiff and transparent, with a New Brunswick provincial flag in in. I thought of it as some kind of souvenir novelty, but I tried playing with it and liked it. I went to my local guy for something like it, and got a bunch of Jim Dunlop purple "Big Stubby" picks. 2 mm, (Lexan?) image Works nicely for the bass too. — I'm not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing. Top

I'm always changing and trying different picks and found that I prefer different picks for different things - thinner and softer for acoustic, heavy thick for lead on electric guitar and thumb pick to practice fingerpicking. When I start playing with dr. frankenstein sometimes during rehearshals and shows I felt quite unconfortable with the pick on my fingers and I used to let it fall a lot. To avoid this I start having always one pick with me all the time that I use to rotate with my fingers just get used to it. After that became much more simplier to move it when I felt less confortable while playing. Recently I noticed that Danny from the Caesars (UK: Wild Records) strumm loads with is thumb pick and he can even play double picking like that. Unusual, but he's not the only one as I've seen Omar Romero playing rhythm acoustic guitar with thumb pick as well - might be one rockabilly thing, lol. Just to conclude, try different picks and push your boundaries! Top

But most of the time I use gator grips 2,0 mm or 1,14mm or when I want to play with tiny picks I play with those tiny gibson dropshaped thin picks or the dunlop stubby III — Member of the league of banana yamaha's !
