Cool pic. To me, one Telecaster looks like the next, but those threads and the 'do definitely make it!
If only the jacket was red, I coulda been a Huntington Cad!

Here's a real oddity, a 1966 Vox Bulldog. Made in Italy by EKO. Supposedly they actually licensed the body shape from Mosrite.
The amp is a 1964 Gretsch, made by Valco. It's got a huge tone and killer tremolo!
Psychonaut- nice guitars- I have one of those Bulldogs, too, but the guy that owned mine before me took out the 3 single coil pickups and stuck a Duncan P90 on it. Vox also made an "Invader" model; same shaped body, spoon-shaped headstock, onboard effects(!).
I saw your band at Asbury Lanes last year, and if I recall correctly you were playing the Dillion- it sounded quite good.

Thanks! I hate when people butcher guitars like that. I bet it sounds fat though, the original pickups are weak and microphonic - though they do sound good.
Now I HAVE to find A Vox Invader if it's the last thing I do!

Mr. Bill,
Nice stuff. Put some strings on that Strat and you'll see a substantial improvement in tone.

My band's previous nutbag guitarist played one of these Dillion Moswrongs. He he got a convincing sound out of it only rarely yet, inexplicably, was quite proud of it. Looks you you have fixed yours up quite nicely, though. Are they the stock "P90s"? Is it as heavy as a sack of potatoes?

The pickups are stock. They are very dark and thick sounding, very hot output. I have to crank the treble on the amp, but I like the sound otherwise. This is one of the earlier Korean made ones, so maybe they had better pickups? This guitar weighs a ton, like Les Paul heavy. The Tremolo is non-original, the Bigsby knock-off it came with didn't stay in tune, so I managed to wrangle a mosely replica from TYM guitars in Australia. It stays in tune well now.

Julien from the Psycho Witches posted this on FB. Not sure where to put it, this seems a good a place as any.

Mmm! Care to tell us a bit about this one? Is that a custom finish or a refin? I haven't seen one in that color before.

I think the Yuzo Kayama model has a similar color, but white pick-ups and three controls. The Kayama is japanese, while this one clearly has a later american headstock shape.
