The Vara-tones rock!!!! I think he might be using a clean boost pedal, I'm going to be getting one after seeing Slacktone live @ hbism , Dave had such a big monstrous sound and tone coming from his early blonde bassman amp and what looked to be a Vibroking amp that said instead of "Vibroking amp" it was named "Slacktone amp" in the old fender white font very cool I did see in the "Slacktone amp" 2 old skool Vox speakers freaking killer tone that was but anyways I think Dave used a pedal for the clean boost and Grande killer sound! -Kyle Beyond The Surf YouTube channel |
