I was wondering if this is nearly impossible to find. I read that it was only available on their tour... I actually didn't know about it. Is is worth finding... I really thought their later stuff (which was not really surf) was very cool and experimental. I also wouldn't mind them collecting up all their tracks on their seven's and split sevens and making another album out of them.

I'd love to own a copy of this as well. It sells for a bunch of money. Also, I hear it is not such a good album, or even coherent in any sense of the word. I've never heard it, just heard of it. I'm sure you can find a download of it somewhere.

Also, I do rather enjoy their later stuff as well. Very different from the Starcrunch era, but still quite good. More atmosphere and less melody. Not necessarily a bad thing when done well.

You don't need to own this. Seriously. I know, completist syndrome and all that jazz, but really. It'll be okay.

It's a tour-only CD comprised of songs contributed by various members of MoAM and their crew working alone (or in pairs, I think). It's all noise tracks except for one that sounded like filler from A Spectrum of Infinite Scale, and that one was either by the sound guy or their merch guy, I forget which.

I borrowed it from a friend a while back and knew after one listen it wasn't going to be something I'd pay more than $5 for. Not worth the time, not worth the search, and definitely not worth the $$$.

as for comps of their 7 inch records.
Beyond the Black hole from Estrus is one of them.
and another cd that I thought was an album is another.
but I forgot which one it is.

I found this at a used cd store. Being the MOAM fiend I am, I bought it. I pretty much agree with was Warren has said. It's not essential, but still really fun to have.

It's more ambient computer noise than songs. The only time I've really put it on is for background music while doing homework.

So, if you love MOAM?'s late work, I'd buy it for $7-10, but totally not worth blowing a bunch of cash on.

--I have to agree with this assessment. I am a MOA? completist and own all of their 7"s, videos, CD's and LP's, but I haven't honestly played this one (other than an occasional track in shuffle play in iTunes) since I bought it. I'd pick it up if you found it for less than $10, but otherwise it's definitely not essential.
