Anybody have the tab for this song. Ctystal-T is one of my favorites. Just started getting into surf over the past year. Tabs are hard to find. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I tabbed Church Key over at the Yahoo Group. I just posted it on the front page, or you can click here. Also check out our Tablature news section (not a lot there yet). —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Kind of sort of. Do you have Power Tab? I tabbed Chrystal-T but it's not toally accurate and the timing is way off in places. The tab is basically notation I did when I was trying to learn it, which I never completely did. Also, I don't have a recording of the Chanteys playing it, and I only heard them play it once. My tab is based on one of the Duo-Tones versions, so Paul's lead is probably more elaborate than what the Chanteys do.... just guessing. If you still want it I'll be glad to email it to you. It's probably a good starting point. It's one of my personal favorites. —My Web Site - Tunes - Pictures - Guitar Projects - Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Pins |

I feel old now. This website is descended from a Yahoo Group (now closed -- sort of) of the same name. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

No Power Tab. That's the version I first heard and it blew me away (acoustic version). I'd love to get the tab from you. Thanks |

You can get the free Power Tab editor here: There are installation instructions here if you need them: Download and install it, and send me a private message with your email address so I can send you my tab files. I have it in 3 pieces (files). —My Web Site - Tunes - Pictures - Guitar Projects - Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Pins |

Thanks Jeff, but I'm running a Mac and the software will only work in windows. I appreciate it though. Thanks again. |

Not to worry, I have a plan "B". I made some .jpeg pictures of the tabs with a screen capture program. Send me your e-mail address, and I will send them too you. —My Web Site - Tunes - Pictures - Guitar Projects - Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Pins |

Now that would really be slick! I do have at least one program that will give you the musical score for a midi file... Anvil Studio. Power Tab is like a tab word processor. You enter the finger positions and timing, including rests, bends, slides, hammer on/pull offs. Along with regular tabs notation that you enter, it interprets it to an actual music score too. And a really neat thing is, it can play it as a midi file. You can enter multiple guitars, chords, and I think drums (I've never done that). There use to be some really well done files out there for download, but I think they were threatened with law suits. You can Google for them and see if there are still any out there. —My Web Site - Tunes - Pictures - Guitar Projects - Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Pins |
