This is from the Thunders, Kane & Nolan DVD. Well worth picking up - the performance is really strong throughout.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Very Happy
Johnny Thunders...my second "guitar hero" (#1 was East Bay Ray) when I was in my early teens.
I prefer this version:

"Pipeline" was a staple of Johnny's set, there's quite a few versions of it on youtube featuring him in various stages of decay.

I highly recommend this documentary if you have some time to kill:

Zak, sometimes you and I disagree on certain things. But when we agree, we appear to agree BIG TIME! I love Johnny Thunders, his music, and his guitar playing, and I've always considered East Bay Ray to be a big influence.

Ahh yes, JT... seen many a show (and a couple of no-shows) back in the day

Pipeline was a classic

The world (not to mention this place) would be pretty dull if everyone agreed all the time.

I agree.

The first time I heard Johnny Thunders' 'Pipeline', it was so raunchy and rockin' that i thought Link Wray was covering it! Grrrrreat version!
He also does a cool version (recorded live) of 'Green Onions'...
