Last year, we were playing at a backyard party when all of a sudden, some old guy in his 60s walked over from next door playing Apache on the mandolin. We gave him a mic and let him jam with us. Another party guest happened to have his sax with him, so he sat in, too. Then we handed a cowbell to the host's sister.
