Permalink Corrido Rock?

Eddie Bertrand tells us a story about playing "Corrido Rock" at the Rendezvous. During the song somebody trips or falls or steps on someone else's foot, whatever happened, it resulted in a huge fight and the Belairs were kicked out of the Rendezvous and told to never return again.

I want to hear this song. Anybody ever perform this or have a version we can hear? I found a "Joe Patek's Orchestra" version with horns and tuba but would love to hear this song on guitars.

thanks,
tom

Here's one. Maybe not what your thinking of, but i remember this version when I was a kid. It was very popular with the SOCAL hispanic folks.
Don't know how it would sound as surf though.... Laughing

Exactly the way Eddie hummed it for us. Imagine the Belairs ripping on that little tuneage. Speaker rippin' loud. Yeehaw
