Has anyone played through Fender's Supersonic yet? If so, what are your impressions of it?

Just wondering if anyone thinks it would be suitable for surf. I play probably 50% surf and 50% rock/blues...and this amp got my attention.
I guess the question I should be asking is how often do some of you use the tremelo feature on yuor amps? I don't use it too often, just the reverb.
I'm also looking at getting either a 65 Deluxe reverb combo, 65 twin reverb, a custom vibrolux reverb, and I also found a used vibroverb reissue (from the 90's, w/2x10") that looks pretty cool. The twin and vibrolux are slightly out of my price range...but I might be able to find a deal somewhere.
I'm looking to stay right at or under $1,000. Right now I play out of a princeton reverb II, 22 wt tube. awesome reverb, but i'm looking for a little more power, something I could play a gig with.
Just gathering some opinions. Thanks!

they all sound great, a Deluxe reverb is too small for gigs most of the time. I think those 90's 2X10 Vibroverbs were not that good, they look cool, but just sound weak in my opinion.

I recently read an elaborate and rave review of the super sonic in a dutch guitar mag. bottom line of the review: it delivers in the vintage tone department, and has very un-fender gain features (i.e. good)
also the build quality was described as way better then the reissue series, esp chassis mounted (aot pcb mounted) pots, inputs, and tubesockets.
haven't played one myself though.

Right on. Yeah, i've heard mixed reviews about the 90's vibroverb reissues as well. I'm leaning towards the vibrolux...i'm afraid 85 watts from the twin might be too much, although I would rather have the 2x12" instead of the 2x10" in the vibrolux. Eh, so many choices. After I try out the supersonic I think i'll have a better idea.

Will do. Many of the reasons why i'm interested in one are the reasons you listed above (build sturdy, construction, vintage tone). I wish it had tremelo though.
