Wow. That is pretty good. I wasn't expecting it to be that good after seeing Hawaiian shirts. |

The El Dorados are a great band. There are a lot of familiar faces -- Stu and Mark, who both used to be in The Aquamarines, are the drummer and lead guitarist respectively. Also, on rhythm is a guy by the name of Mark English, whom most of you know from a band called The Space Cossacks. I expect that these guys will be making some major waves in a few, especially once they start writing and performing their own material. ~B~ |

Yeah... I guess Mark moved out to the Bay Area a few years back, and after a little bit he decided he wanted to get back into the surf groove. We played with them at their first show back in August. ~B~ |

Thanks for that video, though it doesn't do them justice. I was fortunate to hang with them at their practice one time and was blown away by how good they were. They're going for a more polished and refined sound and it's good as gold, pun intended. —Danny Snyder I am now playing trumpet with Prince Buster tribute band 'Balzac' Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

Tell me about it! Generally, both Marks play Strats, and I did a double take when both of them reached for the Rickys. But damn, they do sound mighty tasty when they do it. ~B~ |

It's great to see Mark playing surf music again. Makes me very happy! Here's hoping we hear a lot more from El Dorados - they sound great in this clip. Ivan PS It's funny he's playing Strats now, cause Mark NEVER played a Strat in the Cossacks! It was always either a Jap Jag or a Schecter Hellcat.... —Ivan |
