Permalink Feedback on a Twin reverb

I detected some kind of feedback in my Twin Reverb, even if the guitar wasn´t pluged.If I turned the reverb off, it desapeard.
Could the tank reverb be damged?.

Its a tube. I know what I would do to find the tube, but I will let a more amp savvy member help you out. I would just tap on the pre-amp tubes to see if I hear anything out of the ordinary, and then I'd pull them out and put them back in. If the problem persists, get a new tube.

Thanks a lot for the help.In the repair shop changed the tubes exactly one year ago.What a shity repair they did.
