very cool, thanks,
seems like a nice tiki bar,
you'd think they would come up with a better name for it,
than the Foundation bar.

Agreed. I'm not sure where the name came from. A couple of my buddies opened the place up in the late 90s. It was just a trashy neighborhood joint with punk rock on the jukebox, cheap beer, skateboards and hardcore flyers on the walls. About 6 years ago one of guys bought the other guy out, hired the Exotics drummer/Bikini Beachcombers head man, Don, to manage and redecorate the bar and it has been remarkably transformed. It's a pretty small joint, but it is smartly decorated and I promise you the specialty drinks rival those found ANYWHERE. I guess they kept the name as it was already a succesful, well established neigborhood watering hole. They don't do too much live music. A once a month gig by the Beachcombers, the Cocktail Preachers get in there every so often, My old rockabilly trio played there once years ago, The Haole Cats have played there and these videos were from the first Exotics show there ever, also our 2nd show in 3 or 4 years. We essentially just used our practice amps and no pa. The videos are quite dark unfortunately, but the sound is ok.

thanks for the info on that.
you know, they could do like Frankie's in Vegas did,
and just add Tiki Bar after it.
hence Foundation, tiki bar.
but whatever,
if people go there allready.
maybe he doesn't need to advertise.

Jonny you guys sounded great. Wish I could have been there. Sandoway is my favorite of them. You guys still have the great stage moves too. Thanks for posting the links.
