Crumb... Mel Taylor is his name,and outrageous drumming is his game.Mel Taylor to me is a drumming god.I consider him to be probably my main influence as a drummer,along with Birdstuff of MOAM.I think just about every time I get behind my drum set I try incorporate Mel's style into my own.Ventures may not be considered surf by some members here at the site,but it's close enough to me.Surf...Instro...It's all the same to me.

Let's back off from DEFCON 3 here. There is no doubt in my mind that if we were all together in a bar in person this would have all been resolved in 2 minutes with no hurt feelings. Silly things seem to get magnified online out of proportion.

So far, my affiliation with sg101 has gotten my band kicked out of two great music clubs and asked never to return.

Man, I was just gonna buy an SG101 T shirt and now I find out I'll be kicked out of clubs for wearing it? Whew, that was close!
