Wow Uma, you guys aren't kidding, that sounds a lot like my tweed bassman and 63 tank. Modelers are really getting viable now for home recording...

Too right we're not kidding... I'm half-tempted to buy - the only suckfish is latency... as always, it irritates the bejesosh out of me, even if only a few milliseconds, I can still 'feel' it. The vibro-kings built-in '63 reverb is more quiet and stable - I wonder if this reflect reality... —As an |

Mix was about on 5, Dwell on 7 or 8, Tone about the same. It does indeed get wetter. — |

I bought a m-audio jamlab for 36 (I use another modeling software anyway). It gives me 12 ms of latency. Warning: I read elsewhere that jamlabs do not work well with amplitube fender on macs. |

Using a cheapo Soundblaster card that is beefed up with the (free) KXaudio program, I'm running it at 5 milliseconds latency - I don't notice it at all. I might get away with less once I upgrade my RAM. If it works like that, I don't know. — |

I've always thought that Amplitube was one of the better (if not the best) amp sim programs. The amp selection leaves me baffled though; it's missing a bunch of great amps while offering some rotten ones. It could be a great tool for headphone practice and recording! — |

Some company should make a pedal with a similar '63 emulation. This emulation on a pedal would be a great solution for amateurs like me. |

Sounds pretty authentic - only thing... it sounds a bit too perfect. Too clean, tanks I have heard have a bit more of randomness to them.. more dynamic. Am I just crazy? |

It's at about there where I can begin to feel it. 5ms latency is mental? How is that done! I have a macbook pro... a little old (it's still using Tiger) but it should still kick ass. I use 50% CPU on about 10ms latency! —As an |

I already have a tank, but I would absolutely buy a pedal if it sounded like that. — |

I don't know how I can achieve 5ms latency. I'm not really tech savvy about computers. I only have about 750mb RAM - my computer is seven years old. It may have something to do with KXaudio (which is freeware), but honestly I don't know. — |

Which guitar interface would you recommend? Is the Behringer Guitar Link UCG102 USB Audio Interface enough? Will it work with Amplitube Fender? —http://www.reverbnation.com/bangmustang |
