These guys have a serious Surf Coasters and Los Straits jones! Here's Intruder and the Surf Coasters' version of Baja. And on the Los Straits side, here's Sing Sing Sing and a Los Straits song I can't remember the name of right now. They're actually pretty good, especially the drummer - a young guy, too!

Is that really Intruder?

I really love The Surf Coaster's version of Baja, I was bummed the solo wasn't in this version.

Also, Beach Monster should not be played as slow as they play it. Also, the bassist should never be allowed to be the "Beach Monster" again.

Thanks for the comments on us guys, coulda been worse Ivan, we don't have any originals ready yet so we're playing all covers for now, We do Intruder (our interpitation) and just started doing Baja that way, we also do a couple LSJ tunes that were put on utube but we don't really Jones for
those bands, we're working on our own stuff and will be adding it as we go. Thanks for the compliments, sadly our drummer Mike is moving to Florida. Jake, we'll speed Beach Monster up if we do it again, as far as being the Beach Monster, better <u>him</u> than me.

I thought Tsunami Blue did a good job. It must be hard to growl in a mic & play bass at the same time. I just saw the Surf Coasters version on youtube. I like Tsunami Blue's version better.

You don't want a guy singing Beach Monster goin over the top spitting, slobbering, spewing snot & puking blood all over Linda Miller, just to act like a monster, do ya ?

I thought that but now i've listened to the orginal i'd say it's not far off if it is slow. It's just the way the cam has interpreted the mix thats all. It's well played.

Great version of Intruder! Beach Monster isn't much of a song so it really needs the personality to carry it along. Dave_deLude, don't judge the Surf Coasters "BM" by that one vid on YouTube- the sound is awful (no offense BWD). I'd love to see Tsunami Blue live... Rick are you the guy on stage left?

thanks for listening and commenting you guys, we appreciate it. Like I said before, it coulda been worse......as those who saw us at the museum last year know too well! hahaha. Nice to meet you too Brian, be seeing you again soon. Ferenc, no offence taken, I love the Surf Coasters "BM". I was standing right behind you when they played it in San Diego last time, too much commotion to introduce myself. yes stage left.
