Hey, Scot,
The JBL was a factory option. My '63 has one as well.
These are great amps, especially in the studio...tone to die for.

So what amps do you have now that aren't Fender, brown, or blonde?

This really wasen a score per say, i really have 2K in it (trade value) it was up at daves guitar in WI
My buddy had a bunch of trade credit and he wanted my black super reverb so i traded him that and a deville (for a backup)
I didnt get it for cheap, had to let some peices go.
Non brown amps....
Dual showman reverb 73 w 215 cab (if anyone wants it its prob for sale.)
79 super reverb
vibro champ
deville (i had 2)
Harmony 30 watt 50's amp with killer 50's Jensen
Marshall JCM 800 212 combo (87)
Hiwatt dr103 (71)
Kasino weird solid 410 thing
Peavey reno 400 (for pedal steel)
Hammond guitar amp (chopped up organ)
2 black reverb units
1 blonde reverb unit RI (for sale)
black bassman bandmaster 212 cab loaded with C12n's
Unloaded black tall bssman bandmaster 212 (still for sale)
and a couple 412 cabs
I feel low on amps a few left in the last month
its still way too much stuff.
time to time i allmost want to sell everything and just have a couple amps and a couple guitars

Thanks for the pic woody With as clean as it is, i wouldent think it has a changed speaker. I do love the tone. it was either a brown concert or the pro and the JBL and the cleaness of the pro that put me over the edge.
Very brown tone. I could see using this on small gig and not having to take my piggyback
I still think woody and eddie have WAY more stuff than me. They have been at it a few more years
Can we get a list woody? and Eddy?

I'd sell everything on that list (except the VChamp, Hiwatt and Super Reverb) and use the money to buy a Vox and a 'real' Marshall

I have never played an old vox. my buddy just scored an origianl ac30 for like $500 im going to see him tonight. I dont think im going to dig it.
I like the gain of the 800 for what i use it for.
The Kasino i can do without, the hammond is just neat, the reno i need for pedal steel (i play pedal steel too....not very well but i play it.)
The other deville i am married to, my mom lent me the money to put it on layaway when i was broke and wanted it. then a few days later she died suddenly. So that amp and my mom are tied together and will never sell it. It dosent get turned on anymore but i cant let it go. + it was one of my first fender tube amps.
the 50's harmony sounds tits! Super clean too, great small wattage amp. On our last record i recorded 8 amps at the same time, the harmony was a shining star, that tone is up in the mix alot.
I wish i had some browns during that recording. Next time. Just got to write a new record now.
The showman i can live without (the 73 that is)
As stuff comes stuff goes little by little.
other than surf i like sludge (melvins type slow heavy) and country, so i have loud hi gain amps
tele's pedal steel and paul copies.
Most of my stuff is surf oriented.

I might like to purchase. I have a lovely 1962 Bandmaster and Bassman with cabs that would match up nicely, don't you think?

Don't challenge the man his playing says it all Scot plays the music like he has been doing it for ages.
Wooza you got the gear freaks no mater the topic and then you got the folks that lean more towards the discussion of the music/reviews you name it or maybe you hit the sweet spot or this beach is getting to ya or maybe you just need to get yourself into a brownface rig how is your bandy working out? did you get it to another tech?

Maybe I'm secretly kinda jealous. The Bandmaster still sucks, though I haven't taken it to a tech. Instead I've got a new Showman coming in the mail! Hopefully that'll save me, but with my luck with gear it'll probably suck too.
