Ugggh...Again? Sorry Jetpack but this has been posted a half dozen times —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

I'm middle aged and not on the internet all that much. Once spent over half a year away from here. Sorry if it's a repeat. Still, hope it cheers someone's day up. Worked for me. |

as much as I knew that it was going to be that video, next time, just use the search function, though I can never get it to work for me. Jeff(bigtikidude) |

Sorry Jetpack, I didn't mean to sound so harsh. Just the thought of seeing those hairdos and fringe again nauseates me. —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

I must have missed this one the last time around, too. Thought I'd witnessed the full extent of the silliness until the tee-pee appeared -- then I just about pissed my pants! I guess this is why we don't have '70s nostalgia. |

It made my day......I'd forgotten just how awful that crap was. Didn't someone here post that Tommy S kicked the bucket? Or maybe someone in the Shadows (or Ivan) bumped him off or had him rubbed out. Me too Tiki Dude........funny as hell........disco Apache! ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

That's the first time my newbie eyes have this too, thanks for the laugh this Friday. BTW Jetpack, I do agree with your sentiment; I usually only resort to trawling through archives when it's more of a support or review issue that I'm sure has been covered. (Preferred tubes, wobbly trem arms, etc.) On the plus side, I am definitely dissuaded from posting more (resulting from similar reactions), which does actually spare me some foot-in-mouth moments. — |

People always recommend searching before posting, but really, how would you discover that this thing had been posted before? The URL gives 2280 matches ... Apache would match every other post. In this particular discussion nobody mentions anything here about the content of the video other than "that version of Apache." Give the guy a break! The Forum search tool is not usually that helpful as search tools go: It seems to ignore quotes and many other advanced features. And it retrieves by threads, not posts. Some threads are 40 pages of posts long. Actually, I usually give up and search the Forum from Google! |

Tuck on the search page there's an option to choose 'posts'. I already apologized, in my knee jerk reaction to seeing this video again I over-reacted. Moving forward SG101 2.0 will have better search functions. —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

I hope I never see it again but everyone should see it at least once and then try to forget the experience. |

Oops ... Any search function is better than nothing, of course. But I have noticed that some sorts of things are pretty hard to search for. Unlike MySpace, where searching for things that are there produces nothing, in forums software the problem is usually inverted. Searching for a needle returns a haystack every time. And, it <u>was</u> a truely repulsive video, too. |

This video cannot be posted enough times, in my opinion. It should be viewed at least once a week. It works for me on so many levels - thanks! —Sean Surf CD's / Vinyl / Fanzines / DVD's |
