Here's a vid from a couple of weeks ago in Toronto on LAKE Ontario. During 40mph Northeast gale force winds.

biggest waves I've seen on a lake. I was out at another spot further east, 4 foot and more consistent, but Bluffers was rocking!

Under normal weather conditions at Wasaga Beach in Ontario (Lake Huron) there was some decent waves.. not surfable but certainly impressive for a lake.

all the great lakes work in right conditions, but Wasaga is on Georgian Bay, which is like the sixth great lake and does produce some waves. That beach is always crowded with swimmers and stink skis in the summer and freezes early in the winter, try heading north to Thunder Beach or Balm Beach.

My wife's family is from very close to Wasaga - so when we go visit in the summer we usually go to the beach. If you go to the main beach it is horrible, we usually drive 10 - 15 minutes from the main beach and it is quiet and nice!

Hey, my wife and I come up once or twice a year. We visit up near Barrie, Ontario - not far from Toronto at all. I like to stop in to Toronto each time we go as well just to shop and hang out. A show might be nice! While the wife is hanging with old friends maybe I can shoot down for a show. Are you in a band?
