does anyone know what kind of cymbals dusty watson uses?

I believe he uses mostly Sabian.

I had the thrill of playing Dusty's set twice while The Madeira were in California in July. I recall that he had all Sabian cymbals (as do I).

More specifically:

14" AA hi-hats
AA medium crashes
20" AA El Sabor ride

I forget the exact sizes of the crashes, but I'm pretty sure they were both 17".

I loved the El Sabor ride so much that I just bought one!

All cymbals sound different, even if they're the same manufacturer/series. You really need to play them with the other cymbals in your kit to know if they're going to sound good with the other cymbals. Also, stick selection has a lot to do with how the cymbals sound (wood vs. nylon tip, etc.)
