I'm really excited about this issue - I think it's one of the best yet. There are more pages devoted to interviews and reviews, with fewer ads. Half of the magazine is just the Laika & The Cosmonauts and Barbwires interviews (thanks Ivan!). The CD is also one of the best yet - a great mix of new and established bands. The CD's are done and I'm just waiting for one more item for the magazine, then it goes to the printer. With luck I should have the magazines hot off the press next week, and in the mail to bands/labels/subscribers/pre-order customers/distros a few days after that!

I just got the CD's yesterday and after fixing a couple of typos that the printer noticed before putting it on the press, it will finally be ready by the end of this week. Thank you subscribers/early purchasers for your patience! I will have a busy weekend packing envelopes and getting these out in the mail!

Got mine yesterday and just finished reading the Laika & Barbwires interviews. The Barbwires interview in particular was excellent and really didn't leave me with much else I wanted to hear (aside from the album again). I suspect this is because Ivan was probably my closest rival in terms of anticipation and later praise for Searider, and I'm glad he didn't hold any of that back for the article.

Just got my copy and I'm really enjoying the interviews that Ivan did with both Laika and The Cosmonauts and Mike Barbwire. Excellent work Ivan and Sean!
Not that Ivan and Sean are taking requests, but I for one would love to see an intervew with Alex from Los Twang! Marvels at some point in the future.
