Of course the real question is whether or not your new album will include your amazing version of Clair D'Lune (sp?). -Marty
Doh! I see Abe already asked this question and I'm happy to see your answer is yes.

Good point Marty. I think the problem is my poll question wasn't worded properly. I should have asked "would you prefer vinyl with an mp3 download?" So I'm not sure how valid the data is. Still the weight of the respondents expertise gave me pause to reconsider my opinion on the matter. Reality is that we're are still a relatively new and unknown band, and we have little capital to work with. I'm glad you like Claire de Lune so much. Wouldn't it be great if I could have a string section play on that? —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

Make your own string section! Get the timbre of your guitars to sound like it and just layer and layer until it sounds right or find a decent synth that makes a violin sound that is 70% passable as real violin. |

No! There are plenty of wonderful versions with strings. The challenge is to make it work without strings. The surf guitar and band arrangement is the beauty of what you've done. -Marty —"Hello Girls!" |
