Just got an email from Mike from the Barbwires (Sweden):
Just found out that the reverbtank I was supposed to borrow at our Las Vegas shows is broken. I was wondering, do you know if there are any surfband/musician located in the Las Vegas area? I was thinking I need to contact anyone who might have one and who could be kind enough to loan me it for the shows. Ive contacted the aquasonics, but I just want more options to be sure. Im greatful for all the help/information I can get.

I assume he needs it for the Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender (April 10, 11, and 12, 2009).

I would hope/think that since the Aquasonics are going to be there.
that would be the logical choice to ask.
unless of course they are playing at the same time.

I think the Barbwires play before the Aquasonics the same night, so it seems like that should work. The only other idea might be Deke Dickerson, or somebody playing at the Guitar Geek fest, or perhaps the Tequila Worms or Rod & The Tonemasters.

I'd rather see Mike and the other Barbwires in person playing.
but Yeah I always wish at least one band member form every surf band out there was on the forum.
that way they could post about what their band is up to.
and we wouldnt have to surf the web so much.
