The Mermen played a great show in Santa Cruz, last night. The band
was very tight. It was a great setlist. Jim even played some keyboards
on the jam at the end of "Honeybomb" to close the show. My ears are
still ringin' and I wear ear protection! My spleen has been officially
rocked!

Here's a review by Robert Garvey from the Mermen-List on Yahoo:

"Here is the setlist from the Friday night show in Santa Cruz. The
Mermen were very energetic the entire show, so faster tempo numbers had
lots of momentum. Jim said there were a few tunes that Jennifer wanted
to play, so that's how the second set started. There weren't many folks
in the place at 9:00, but it was pretty full by the time the band
started and lots of enthusiasm on the dance floor.

Sounds killer! Would have loved to have gone. Heck, I'd like to see The Mermen at any venue. Love that band. Jim Thomas is an inspiration.
