bump/reminder I have been asked back to the JOEY REYNOLDS SHOW, and accompanying me will be the COFFIN DAGGERS http://coffindaggers.com/ people familiar with WOR-AM and JOEY REYNOLDS know the drill....but he's the low-down the band and myself are expected in the studio around 11:45 pm on 12/2/08; we then are brought into the WOR-AM studio where JOEY REYNOLDS broadcasts from LIVE, and we generally are on between Midnight and 1 am {technically December 3rd} from this link, you can check the podcasts of prior shows and listen to the show live (stream): more about JEOY REYNOLDS here: going on this show is an ongoing joy for me, and it allows me to present local and visiting surf artists LIVE -- performing, and speaking about themselves and the surf-beat genre hope you get to hear us! thx for your support UNSTEADY FREDDIE p.s. things went unbelievably well on THE JOEY REYNOLDS SHOW the other night STRANGE BUT SURF gave it their all, and did me proud I am going on with LOS STRAITJACKETS next month -- more details as the date gets closer but I thought I would share this information about <u>the SIZE of JOEY REYNOLDS' audience</u>, from 2 different websites: _Joey Reynolds Show in-studio in New York City at 10:40 p.m. Paul Siebold, WORs director of marketing, citing Arbitron ratings, says: Joey has an audience of 100,000 in New York City and 250,000 across the country. _ In so many words, this is a substantial audience I reach each time I bring a different instrumental surf artist on to THE JOEY REYNOLDS SHOW. I have become a 'regular'. I get a lot of feedback in MySpace and Facebook, and it's generally almost completely positive. I am thrilled I have 'opened this door' for the instro surf genre. The really good news is that Joey is a 'child of the 60's' - he totally digs the live surf I bring there, and allows me to promote my monthly SURF-ROCK SHINDIGs and other events I am involved with. Tuesday June 16 I arrive at WOR AM 710 for another appearance on THE JOEY REYNOLDS SHOW I go on AFTER MIDNIGHT on WED. June 17th Joining me will be members of BONGO SURF, who are performing twice in 3 days for 2 of my events -- the START-OF-SUMMER SURF-ROCK SHINDIG at OTTO's on SAT. 6/20/09, and then on MON. 6/22/09, there is my SURFIN' SAFARI at SAPPHIRE EAST -- yes....surf music + strippers...a night of guaranteed unsteadiness...... Along those lines, besides BONGO SURF, joining me on JOEY's show will be STEVE HAHN, General Manager of SAPPHIRE EAST -- and 2 of 'The Girls' from the club...to help get us all in that Summer Party mood.....
