Permalink Gold pickguard for AV jazzmaster?

New Topic

Okay first of all I did do a search of the forum but found nothing, so I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse. Does anyone know a source? I understand you can get CIJ and MIJ ones form Japan, but I've found nothing here. Anyone know where?

Here you go...$96+ shipping.

Thanks... I guess... I mean really thanks for the direction. The I guess part is because of the price Shocked I've also heard the Japan parts don't fit the AVs, but at that price I'm thinking it wouldn't matter if it did fit...

There is a guy, in New England, I believe, that makes nice repro gold anodized guards that fit original '58-59 Jazzmasters and would probably fit an AVRI as well. However, I couldn't find his website. His guards were very pricey - around $200. That's why I have a tortoise guard on my Fiesta Red AVRI instead of a gold one!
