Permalink Bitch Boys - Yay or Nay?

New Topic

I was thinking about ordering some of their cd's. Just because I am looking for something new to listen to. I have read these guys rock, are their albums worth the dough?

I really like their "Ride the 1st Wave" CD.

I didn't get into "In Heat" very much, but its been a while since I've heard it.

i also really like the 'ride the 1st wave' cd, carol

I loved both CD's. If you enjoy double picking played to perfection at close to the speed of sound, check these guys out. I recommend 'In Heat', great songs with a nice range of styles within the genre.

bri thanks for the reply and thanks for doing that switch for me bro.

I'll try the first album and if that is good ill go with 2nd. Thanks for the replys guys and Momma Smile

There is also a cdr of cover songs called :
"Behind the Hound dogs walls"
available on Zptdudah.

But the 2 official cd's are real good.
When they first came out I was real turned off to the name, thought they were gonna be a vocal frat/garagey surf band. far from it.
Very good reverb, and played amazingly well.

Jeff(bigtikidude)
p.s. get "In Heat" it's supposed to be sold out soon.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

By all means, get everything you can by the Bitch Boys.
They are as good as anybody out there.

Here's some BB vid action for ya.

The Disasternauts

Their Phantom of the Opera cover is worth the price of admission.

I love the snowman song , covered from that english cartoon of the kid flying over the snow covered fields of England at night with a snowman, around x-mas time.
it gives me chills everytimne I hear it.

Jeff(bigtikidude)
p.s. does anybody know where to get that cartoon? or who did it, and who did the music? the kid sings words to the song in the original.

Jeff, that's so great that you knew that. Snowman is one of my favorite songs period! I even cover that in the band I'm putting together. I vaguely remember the cartoon, but have no recollection of the music. I'll help you on your quest.

So when are "The Boys" gonna come to the US!?!

I e-mailed Robi about it, and they want to come do a West coast tour, but there is alot of logistics, and costs to be considered.
If it does happen, there will have to be alot of gig and room and board help for them I think.

Bingo, as soon as I read that it all came back to me.
I saw it on after Reading Rainbow PBS show with
Levar Burtton(black blind guy on Star Trek-Next Gen.)
back when I was 12 or 13 years old.
