Hey y'all,
When I woke up this AM, I had a tune in my head -- nothing unusual except in this case I couldn't remember what the tune was named. The problem with instro music is that you can't just remember a snippet of the lyrics and Google it to find the song. If someone has compiled a list of tunes, I could at least scan for likely titles and then search on iTunes or Rhapsody to hear a bit of it. Is there such a list? I realize that Phil Dirt's "Reverb Central" is probably the most complete list of surf music but he's never made it available for search or sort.

You can use google to search Reverb Central; e.g. site:reverbcentral.com something
John Blair's Discography is probably the most comprehensive list of surf tunes; 60's tunes anyway.

SURF-A-NOVA b/w DA DIPTY by The Parallels ?
I have a copy. It's kinda neat, but I've never seen it mentioned anywhere.

It's listed in John's new book.

Thanks guys.
Books are good but you can't search and sort the data. In the absence of an existing searchable site, I may have to start my own. I know web-based data manipulation pretty well. Let cha know what I come up with.

Is there a comprehensive list of all surf tune titles?
I rather think that, like "Science Fiction", "Surf is what you are pointing at when you say it".
That could be a very long or very short list, depending on who compiles it.
