Nice board! I recently sold my Dano Reel Echo to get the BBE Two Timer - I love it. How do you like that Carbon Copy?

I like it alot, what I love most though is how well the Two-Timer compliments the Carbon Copy.
Before the Carbon Copy came out, I had an AD9 which I loved, but didn't like how its warmth sucked out all my highs.

The Carbon Copy, imo, is probably the best mass produced analog delay on the market right now, in the sense that it's very warm but doesn't color your tone.
And as I'm sure you already know, the Two-Timer is kinda dark, but also doesn't color my tone.
So those two go together really well.

Not shown is my Roland VG88 or my '63 Fender Reverb tank (now that I finally found a guitar I like to play through it).

UM....... you play surf thru all of that?

In his defense, they are technically all surfish effects... Although I'd rather get my penis slammed in a door than to play through it.

In a word, yep, don't see any reason not to.:guitar:

I've owned a lot of pedals these are the few keepers that I use (or mixes thereof) that gives me the sound/control and tonal range I like. One of the most used pedals is the Barber Tone Press (it really makes the reverb tank come alive) and it works different than any compressor/limiter pedal I've ever used or owned because it blends rather than just straight compress/limit.

The ToneBone Twin City ABY is very useful for driving two amps as well. It doesn't load up the inputs of the amps, or suck the life out of the tone of the guitar.

So, like I said, yep, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Only if I get to borrow your anal beads. I'll bring my own cock ring.

When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar.

So not everyone is a traditionalist. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Agreed, only good music matters.

I must need new glasses, because I thought it said "Reverb Bidet."

-Warren

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

It said "Probationary Member" because I said anal bead.

Mine used to say "Tank Licker" and would until sent the site dude some $!

a friend told me to check this site out a while ago and I didn't...

I wish I had listened to her... I've been missing out.

this stuff is priceless as far as humor.

sorry I'm not posting up what the topic is about gear... my set up is somewhat non traditional for surf so I'm sure I'd get slammed for it.

I'm just enjoying reading all the talk on here...

cheers!

Hey Reynaldo, welcome aboard.
I joined last year and it's a great site and discussion. You should enjoy it.

I don't own any real surf equipment nor write real surf music but...on the whole...these good people are fairly accepting of some of us who weld our surfboards to the roofracks of our car and drive near beaches but never get wet ;)

..as far as pedals, I use an analogue delay (why do I feel conspicuous using that word in this thread?) and boss overdrive live and a line 6 soundcard when I record. Though in reality, I've been playing acoustic guitar lately live ...
