Im sure most of you know, but some might not, but AOL radio has a surf rock station thats pretty damn good:) and its all free on the net.. or if you run vista its built into it.. like 200 channels and alot of good stuff:)
just thought i would mention it for people that need to kill time at work:)

A bump to this old post...
I have been listening to the AOL surf radio station a lot lately. It's really quite excellent. It's mostly focused on older surf music, but not exclusively. Tons of Ventures songs and covers of Ventures songs. But some more modern things like the Mermen and such. Definitely recommended.

Just to clarify... I was only joking around regarding what Daikaiju_fo_sho wrote. I guess it could have come off as curmudgeonly and insulting. Which was not my intent. But I guess that's not to say I'm not actually a curmudgeon or anything.

yes but nothing replaces spending hours and hours of looking thru bins of LPs and CD and finding hidden Jems.
and then buying them.
