Great show, Unsteady! I heard it last night on iTunes. Good interview, although I sound like a geek. I must admit -- it moves along nicely, and Drew comes along at just the right time. Thanks for all your nice words during the interview!
As for all the OTHER bands, you made some great choices. I love "Storm" by HulaHoop, although someone in northern California would probably say it sounds too much like Slacktone. He's a great reviewer isn't he? So talented!
I love the Tommorrowmen too!
Thanks for featuring us on your show!
PS: I like the stuff by the German band too; they actually remind me of the Razorblades.

ciao!

yeah HulaHoop is a totally cool band; SLACKTONE? don't really hear that.....

then again, art is in the EAR of the beholder, no?

Damian, your band SMOKESSSSSSS and I was proud to feature your music and our little moment together outside OTTO's on the show -- and yeah DREW coming along, in that happy state, was a classic moment for sure

I checked out your radio show for the first time last night, bravo! It was very hard to get to listen to new surf music unless I had access to the band's recordings and that is tough to do without knowing anything about the various groups that are active. Show 44 and the others really do a great job showcasing music that is hard to find. Keep up the good work. A new fan!

after a long hiatus, I will shortly be recording some new editions of TWANG SHEBANG and YourSpace Radio

my Program Director Dan Coleman has been doing double, even triple, duty in the career department, forcing him to put www.myrealbroadcast.com on the back burner for awhile

I will kick things back up with a TWANG SHEBANG '4x4 Edition' - i.e., 4 4-song sets, and an opener, and closer -- 18 songs in all --- it's in the planning stages now, hope to have it up and running by this weekend, or the following weekend

Thxxx

Very nice. Broadcast radio production quality all the way.

UF - GREAT show. Thanks for including CUTBACK in the mix. It's an honor to be in such good company.

CUTBACK

Freddie......Thank you so much for playing our music on your show. It's a great honor to be included with those other fantastic artists. "Avila" is a song that i had made a rhythm for and asked a couple guitar playing friends to see if they could write a melody for it...i love colaborating (sp?) on stuff!...some time passed and i didn't receive any ideas so i wrote the theme myself. I used to hang in Avila after a good day of surfin Pismo or a few other spots around there and look for girls to hang out with and take to the Rose Garden Ballroom in Pismo to see surf bands at night! What a life...!
I've enjoyed all your Twang Shebang shows and again, i'm honored that you would include us....AGAIN!!

Freddie,
Can you listen to past shows or does a new show overwrite the last one?
Can't log in from work, so I will have to do this from home.

Thanks.

my 2 shows have been 'in the process of moving to new servers' for months, now

the answer, though, in a nutshell, is YES (at least at this moment!!)

in response to the many e/mails I have gotten asking for a 'correct' link/URL to Twang Shebang, my Program Director, Dan Coleman, has informed me that the show, with other shows, are switching over to a new server - and a few bugs are being ironed out

everything should be back, up and running, within 24-48 hours

I will post again when everything is in order

thx for all the inquires, though
